Not sure a shot is right yet? Turn on Draft mode and Seedance 2.5 renders a fast 480p preview of your AI video first. Like it? Upgrade the same clip to 1080p with one click.

How Seedance 2.5 draft mode works
Switch on Draft in the video panel, on a Canvas video node, or through the Popcraft MCP.
Generate. You get a quick 480p preview.
Press Upgrade to 1080p. The 1080p version keeps the same prompt, references, seed, length, aspect ratio and audio setting.
When to use draft mode
Testing a new prompt before you commit to full quality.
Trying several takes of the same scene and keeping only the best.
Checking framing and motion before paying for 1080p.
Draft mode pricing and the 7-day upgrade window
A 480p draft costs 24 credits per second of video (a 10-second draft is 240 credits). 1080p costs 120 credits per second (1,200 credits for 10 seconds).
The preview and the 1080p render are two separate generations, so you only pay for 1080p when you decide to upgrade.
The upgrade button stays available for 7 days after the draft.
Draft first, upgrade the winners: the fastest way to explore a scene without paying full price for every try.
Open the video panel and pick Seedance 2.5 to try it.
