Tour Meeting-Point Videos: Write English and Chinese Together

A tour's booking video and its arrival instructions serve different viewers. A prospective guest needs to understand the activity and find the booking page. A booked guest needs the exact meeting point and reporting procedure. Combining both without a clear transition can make the message confusing.

Planning diagram for paired tour scripts and verified logistics; not a real itinerary or meeting-point map.

Use the paired scripts below for a hypothetical neighbourhood photo walk. Every bracketed detail is a placeholder, not a real Singapore location, time or itinerary.

Script A: before booking

English: “Explore [approved activity description] with [operator name]. See the available dates, what is included and the current booking conditions on our booking page. Choose your preferred session there.”

中文: “跟随[运营方名称]体验[已确认的活动内容]。请到预订页面查看可选日期、包含项目和现行预订条件,再选择适合的场次。”

Both versions invite an informed booking. Neither promises availability, a particular route or an included item that has not been confirmed. Show real activity material where the viewer could otherwise mistake an illustration for a guaranteed experience.

Script B: after confirmation

English: “For your confirmed session, meet at [exact approved meeting point] at [reporting time]. Look for [verified identifying detail]. Show [required booking reference] to our team. If your confirmation gives different instructions, contact us through [approved channel] before travelling.”

中文: “参加已确认的场次,请于[报到时间]到达[准确集合地点],并寻找[已核实的识别标志]。向工作人员出示[所需预订凭证]。如确认通知中的指引不同,请在出发前通过[指定渠道]联系我们。”

Have the operator approve the exception wording. It should match how staff actually resolve conflicting information.

Attach a logistics note to both scripts: source of location information, source of session details, reviewer, review date and the next planned check. Preserve an official venue name consistently across languages; an elegant translation is unhelpful if it does not match the sign guests see.

Popcraft provides voice-generation tools for producing approved narration. Listen to place names and reporting times individually before reviewing the full sequence. Use a current real photograph of the meeting point, not a generated landmark.

Finally, give each language version to someone who has not seen the brief. Ask them where they would book and where they would meet after confirmation. If their answers differ between English and Chinese, revise the information hierarchy before adjusting music or visual style.
