Video compositions on Canvas can now blend between clips and change speed.
Transitions
Each clip can lead into the next with one of three transitions:
Cut: the classic hard cut (the default)
Crossfade: the two clips blend
Fade to black: a short dip to black between scenes
Speed
Set any clip anywhere from 0.5× (slow motion) to 2×. A badge on the track shows which clips are sped up or slowed down.
What you see is what you render
The preview and the final render now share the same timeline, so what you scrub is exactly what you get. While a clip plays, the playhead follows and pages the track along, just like a video editor.
Ask the Canvas Agent
The Canvas Agent can edit the timeline for you too: split, trim, reorder, remove, and set transitions, speed and volume.
